Hello Everyone! Coffee Anyone? I am one of those who must have their coffee first thing in the morning! But I also do enjoy the taste and the smell as well... This month's Hero Arts Card kit is fantastic and full of many images of coffee along with their dies! These stamps are perfect for any medium you chose to complete your cards... I broke out my alcohol markers for my first card, but kept it simple... (yes I am still learning the alcohol world, LOL) The majority of my mugs I colored in warm grey tones with one bright and cheery! I enjoyed working with the puff embossing powder by Hero Arts! If you think you love watching the embossing powder change when it is heated, wait until you try this one! AWESOME! Stamps all my mugs to fill my background with white pigment ink and then embossed using white powder! To fill in the shipped cream I pulled out Emboss It Pen by Ranger... This kit even came with come coffee and tea dyed papers! Used a couple stitched square dies from my stash to create a layered panel on my card design base and then one single mug on top for the focal point! Want to see more cards and all the fun details? Hello Everyone! I am back with another design team project for Scrapping for Less! There are still MINI Kits available from Scrapping for Less from their past release! I wanted to feature one of them for you today! I am a huge fan of the small stamps sets that Lawn Fawn creates… The stamp set I used by Lawn Fawn is called Year Four and is part of a mini collection exclusively here at Scrapping for Less! I started my card by die cutting 2 images from three different card stocks available in the kit. I then created my own background pattern paper by placing my die cuts all over my panel. This is one of my favorite techniques and one I use most often! I then stamped my images to get them ready to use my colored pencils. We all know this is my medium of choice, there was a chance though the alcohol markers were going to make an appearance! LOL I chose a piece of vellum as my backdrop for my images so they would stand out above the background. There was a lot going on there! I added simple doodles to my balloon ribbons and sequins to my Birthday Cakes! Gotta have some shimmer and sparkle, right?!? See all the details in the below video! But Always Remember... Be Inspired, Be Creative, ENJOY and SHARE what you create today! ~ Desiree Hello Everyone! I am here with another project for Scrapping for Less and for this one I learned something! We always learned something new everyday! Did you know that you can get MINI Kits from Scrapping for Less from their past releases! I did not… LOL But now I know and I can pass this information on to all of you! ENJOY! The stamp set I am using was created exclusively for Scrapping for Less by Pink n Main! It is called Wild and Free and has the most adorable images to color in any medium of your choice! I started by stamping my sentiment and heat set with white fine detail embossing powder! I then stamped my image using my Black Tuxedo on both smooth white card stock and a piece of pattern paper from the mini kit… Colored using my alcohol markers and fussy cut my image out. From the image on the pattern paper I cut out the bill, so I could paper piece! I set my background panel in place onto my standard A2 size card base and layered the burlap tag, included in the kit, on top. Grabbed a couple of the washi stickers and set my sentiment above the tag and placed my imaged above my sentiment! Come see all the details below! Be Inspired, Be Creative, ENJOY and SHARE what you create today! ~ Desiree Spellbinders New Collections Inspiration BLOG HOP! featuring Inked Messages by Stephanie Low8/15/2018 Hello Everyone! Welcome to Spellbinder's Special Moments by Marisa Job and Inked Messages by Stephanie Low Stamp and Die Sets Bog Hop! Today I will be showing some wonderful products form the Inked Messages product line. Both are beautiful and I am very glad Spellbinders made the decision for me!, LOL... My first card I used the Bloom Where You are Planted Set and pulled out my distress inks! For my background I stamped with both floral images using Simon Says Stamp Barley Beige Ink. I love this ink pad when I watercolor. I can't explain why, I just love the effects it provides when Watercolor is applied over it! I used picked raspberry, spiced marmalade and wild honey and created a flat wash for my background. I then used tumbled glass, broken china and evergreen bough for my florals and I used my gold embossing powder to give a barriers for my coloring. Once all dry everything was placed on top of my standard A2 size top folding card base. For my next card i used the Rough Waters Stamp and Die set! These images are beautiful and so detailed! I could not resist puling out my alcohol markers for these images. I first stamped them with my memento black ink and then colored my images using corals and greens for the flowers and grays and browns for my anchor and rope... One they were colored I then placed my panels back into my stamp positioner and used my versamark ink so I cold heat emboss with gold. What a difference how my images looked! I pulled my Deckled Edge Frame die from Spellbinders to cut a background panel I created using distress oxide inks (tumbled glass, broken china and faded jeans). I placed my images on top of my standard A2 size top folding card base. For my final card I used A Rose by any other Name Stamp and Die Set. I really kept it simple and once I saw this rose I pulled out my colored pencils. I used my Gina K Amalgam Black Ink and really enjoyed coloring in my rose! My medium of choice are colored pencils! You name the set and I bet I have it, LOL. After my image was colored I used the die to cut it out... I used one my colored pencils to create my own splatters on my card base, it works great in a pinch! Added my sentiment and rose on top of my standard A2 size card base. Right now, getting Inky, suffering paper cuts, cutting with metal dies and stamping everything, whether it moves or not makes me smile and I must pass that along to everyone I know and don’t know!
