However, I had to have this pearl watercolor from Blick Art Supplies, and I am so glad I gave into temptation. ...what was even better I got to play around with my QoR Watercolors. had them for so long and never used them! It is amazing what we find when we clean, LOL...

I love Mix Media and just messing around in the craft room… We all get blocked from time to time and when you kinda put yourself on a schedule it can happen very quickly! So to clear my head I dig into my stash and just slap something around on a piece of mix media paper!  At some point I realized I must have been blocked often, because I had alot of Mix Media Background created... Back in the day I had taught some card making classes with a great bunch… I supplied all the items to get the card made, they just brought their stamps and their ink… So as I was gathering my paper supplies and found all these backgrounds I had made over a period of time, because yes I never throw anything away! I cut them up into card panels and brought them with me… Lets just say not many came back home with me and it became a tradition every quarter and the colors were based on the season… It was a lot of fun!

Since about the time I spoke my first word, I’ve been an avid crafter alongside my mom and sister. You name the craft and I’ve probably bought it, collected it, tried it and finally stored it. Right now, getting Inky, suffering paper cuts, cutting with metal dies and stamping everything, whether it moves or not makes me smile and I must pass that along to everyone I know and don’t know!
