The Card Makers Academy was created to help those just starting our in the Card Making Sphere!  I will show you, in great details the current tools and uses for them along with their possible alternatives.  Then of course the supplies to make it all come to life! 

We will then continue the series working with specific techniques for our cards!

PART 1 - Paper, Paper and even more Paper!

There are so many choices out there and available right at our fingertips! I will show you all types of paper you can use in your papercraft projects!  Here I will focus on the many types of card stock, pattern papers and the special ones (glitter, foil and textures)!  Don't worry we will get into those papers we use for alcohol markers, watercolors, colored pencils and sprays in another video! 
Permanent, Dye, Pigment, Hybrid, Archival...  So many to choose from - maybe here you will know what one you can stretch the farthest and get the most use out of!

PART 2 - Let's Talk INK!

PART 3 - The Tools and Adhesives (they make our Life easier sometimes)!
Do we need all these tools and adhesive?  ...the answer, in my opinion, is NO...  It is nice to know though what they all can be used for and maybe some alternatives!
So many stamps!  They still keep their original format, however they have grown more in techniques!  Stamps originally stamped your image and you added color, now you can create wreaths and even layer your inks to create the stamped image!

PART 5 - Those Stand Alone and Coordinating DIES!
Dies, Dies, Dies...

Die have certainly come to life in this industry!  They not only coordinate to a stamp set, they also can stand alone and create an interactive element to your paper craft!  Still come in different sizes and shapes to meet everyone's needs!
When we hear the term Embossing, we usually automatically think of Heat Embossing!  That involved powder and heat gun (more on this topic later)...

In Part 6 we will be looking using our Embossing Folders!  These are a diamond in the rough and usually get lost in all the other products available!  They are making a comeback though due to the rise in the 3D effect!  Whether you have the original or the 3D versions, the results are endless and beautiful!
