Hello Everyone! I am back with another design team project for Scrapping for Less! There are still MINI Kits available from Scrapping for Less from their past release! I wanted to feature one of them for you today! I am a huge fan of the small stamps sets that Lawn Fawn creates… The stamp set I used by Lawn Fawn is called Year Four and is part of a mini collection exclusively here at Scrapping for Less! I started my card by die cutting 2 images from three different card stocks available in the kit. I then created my own background pattern paper by placing my die cuts all over my panel. This is one of my favorite techniques and one I use most often! I then stamped my images to get them ready to use my colored pencils. We all know this is my medium of choice, there was a chance though the alcohol markers were going to make an appearance! LOL I chose a piece of vellum as my backdrop for my images so they would stand out above the background. There was a lot going on there! I added simple doodles to my balloon ribbons and sequins to my Birthday Cakes! Gotta have some shimmer and sparkle, right?!? See all the details in the below video! Since about the time I spoke my first word, I’ve been an avid crafter alongside my mom and sister. You name the craft and I’ve probably bought it, collected it, tried it and finally stored it. Right now, getting Inky, suffering paper cuts, cutting with metal dies and stamping everything, whether it moves or not makes me smile and I must pass that along to everyone I know and don’t know!
