 Hello Everyone! I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer season, Yes it finally got here! But we always have time to craft so I am here with another project for Scrapping for Less! Today let’s feature a couple of great businesses, first Heffy Doodle Stamps – Party Palooza and My Favorite Things – Circle Stencil! So let’s get the party started and celebrate!!!
I then stamped my images with my memento black ink and my alcohol markers to color my images from the Heffy Doodle Stamp Set! Accented with some sparkle and white gel pen… Layered all my imaged on my design panel and WAH-LAH we have a card ready to celebrate at any Birthday Party!  Hello Everyone! Ahhhhh! My most favorite place in the entire world to be! Salt air in my hair, sand in my toes and the sound of crashing waves, what more can a girl ask for to be totally relaxed? Well, the next best thing to me is to grab some summer-themed stamped products and make beach themed cards! And do we ever have that on the agenda for today! I hope everyone is enjoying their day, but I wanted to stop in to show you another project for Scrapping for Less! Today I am featuring Sugar Pea Designs – Story Book Circus! Life is a Circus and what fun it is! We have a Lion, Bear and an Elephant to bring to life any celebration!… I started my project by creating my background using my Distress Oxides in Peacock Feathers and Broken China. I used my finger sponge daubers to lay down my color then sprayed my panel with water to get those colors moving. I found some wood grain paper in my stash and cut 1/2 inch strips and layered them at the bottom to create a wood floor.  I stamped my images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored each image using my Prismacolored Pencils!! They are my favorite medium… Once they were done I fussy cut them out and got them ready to be the center stage on my background! The sentiment I chose was “Life is a Circus” and used a banner die from my stash. Set my panel on a standard A2 size side folding card base! We are now ready for the celebration! Stamping Bella – Bess the Butterfly?! This stamp set just makes you smile and be inspired to create! Bess will make any little girl smile on her special day… But I also knew she needed to be part of an event I was actively involved in and she really inspired me!  I decided to pull out my alcohol markers and have some fun. I am still getting comfortable coloring with this medium and I am determined to become better every time I use them! I stamped her in my Memento Black Ink and pulled out my colors. The packaging from Stamping Bella made it very easy to choose my color pallet! It was perfect… My sentiment was very simple… “Survivor” and was pulled from my stash. When stamping my sentiment, I used my VersaFine Black Ink to ensure a crisp result.
I decided to make my card base 4 1/4 in x 4 1/4 in instead of the normal A2 size. I accented her with a scalloped frame die in black card stock! La-La Land Crafts, that name just makes you sing, right?! Ok so it makes me sign and I was in my craft room! LOL… The stamp set being featured is called ‘Spring Woodland Critters’, but even though the word Spring is there, they can be used for any season!! …and I still waiting for spring and the sun to arrive! I dug around my room and I pulled out my Zig Clean Real Brush Markers, brushed the dust off them and grabbed my aqua brush! I made sure I stamped in VersaFine Black Onyx in so I could emboss my images. I find this works best when I want to use a watercolor technique. It’s a control thing I am sure!  When I first saw this stamp set I imaged them on tags, and I LOVE MAKING TAGS!… So I pulled a die from my stash and cut away… When making a tag I like to create a stand-up tag, this way it can be displayed just like our cards! Since about the time I spoke my first word, I’ve been an avid crafter alongside my mom and sister. You name the craft and I’ve probably bought it, collected it, tried it and finally stored it.
