Hello Everyone! I was looking around my craft room and saw all of those little bits and pieces that I just cannot throw away! So I dug them out and and just started creating! It does not look like I would have put a big dent into my card stock stash, but what did feel really good is I did not cut into a new piece of card stock! LOL... The canvas I created on was provided to me by ARTEZA®. These are their 5 in x 7 in canvas and I love the thickness of these... Perfect to maneuver on your craft table! The dies I used are from Lawn Fawn called Pretty Poppies and I just thought these were perfect for my focal point on my canvas. Accented my panel with some stamping and stenciling and we have a beautiful art journal canvas! Hello Everyone! I am back with another design team project for Scrapping for Less! For today I had a craving for Caramel Apples and Lawn Fawn filled it…. for now, at least, LOL! The stamp set for my design team project is by Lawn Fawn and it’s actually called Caramel Apples! Caramel apples are perfect for that cool night in the fall! For this project I used my Memento Ink and alcohol markers to color my images! I also had a chance to use Lawn Fawn Knock on Wood paper pad! This pad is great for adding just a hint of texture on your card with out all the work! I grabbed three shades and cut them down. For this card I actually followed a sketch, you can find it here at the Scrapping for Less Show and Share Group – COME AND SHARE YOUR WORK WITH US! I made sure my images were front center with the pattern paper placed around. Once I was finished I placed my design base onto my Standard A2 size top folding card base. Added some Nuvo Drops in dark walnut to give just something extra! Just click on the video below to see all the fun and creative details! Always Remember... Be Inspired, Be Creative, ENJOY and SHARE what you create today! ~ Desiree Hello Everyone! I am back with another design team project for Scrapping for Less! There are still MINI Kits available from Scrapping for Less from their past release! I wanted to feature one of them for you today! I am a huge fan of the small stamps sets that Lawn Fawn creates… The stamp set I used by Lawn Fawn is called Year Four and is part of a mini collection exclusively here at Scrapping for Less! I started my card by die cutting 2 images from three different card stocks available in the kit. I then created my own background pattern paper by placing my die cuts all over my panel. This is one of my favorite techniques and one I use most often! I then stamped my images to get them ready to use my colored pencils. We all know this is my medium of choice, there was a chance though the alcohol markers were going to make an appearance! LOL I chose a piece of vellum as my backdrop for my images so they would stand out above the background. There was a lot going on there! I added simple doodles to my balloon ribbons and sequins to my Birthday Cakes! Gotta have some shimmer and sparkle, right?!? See all the details in the below video! Always Remember... Be Inspired, Be Creative, ENJOY and SHARE what you create today! ~ Desiree Hello Everyone! I am back and with another project for Scrapping for Less! Today let’s feature Lawn Fawn! The stamp set is called ‘So Jelly’ and adding the ‘Ocean Wave Accents’ die set! So many options available for a creative day from this stamp and die set! So, let’s get started and celebrate under the sea!!! I started with shades of blue cardstock from my scrap pile (ok box!) and used a frame die from my stash to cut create the shapes of the ocean. Next, I placed the Ocean Wave Accent Die around to get waves cut into my panels. I then stamped the images using my Black Tuxedo Memento Ink since I knew I was going to color these with my alcohol markers. I am getting a little bit better… I think, LOL!

Since about the time I spoke my first word, I’ve been an avid crafter alongside my mom and sister. You name the craft and I’ve probably bought it, collected it, tried it and finally stored it. Right now, getting Inky, suffering paper cuts, cutting with metal dies and stamping everything, whether it moves or not makes me smile and I must pass that along to everyone I know and don’t know!
