Hello Everyone! Something a little different today, you have not seen in a while! I always keep my eye out for new and interesting kits and products and one (ok there are many...) of the kits I always keep a close eye is the My Favorite Things Monthly Card Kit! I feel sometimes I stalker their page, LOL But they do not offer their kits as a monthly subscription but rather they make a launch announcement! I never stress though if I miss out because they items in the kit can be purchased once their monthly release is live, I love that! So below are the three cards I made using the contents provided in the kit. First up I used the Heart Art Stamp Set. Pulled out some different coordinating card stock and just embossed the image creating the silhouette of the stamp onto my card stock. It is faint but you can clearly read the image on each of my hearts! It reminded me of the candy hearts, which I loVe! Next, I used my distress oxides and created a background to sit behind a large heart our of pattern paper! I also created a background so I could cut out my sentiment and hearts! For my last card I created a crossword image using the shaker replenishment and the die! The best way to stay notified of when they are about to release their next kit is to go to the My Favorite Things Website and sign up for their newsletter! Just some of the products I used for this project... Since about the time I spoke my first word, I’ve been an avid crafter alongside my mom and sister. You name the craft and I’ve probably bought it, collected it, tried it and finally stored it. Right now, getting Inky, suffering paper cuts, cutting with metal dies and stamping everything, whether it moves or not makes me smile and I must pass that along to everyone I know and don’t know!
