Hello Everyone! For today's project I dug into my stash and found all of those leftover backgrounds we tend to collect and keep while water coloring, spraying or smooshing our inks onto our card stock! By using only the Layer 'A' of the wonderful Birch Press Design Layering Die Set we can create some beautiful images for our greetings! Use your die to cut your image and keep all the puzzle pieces intact! Choose to add dimension to your focal point or the background to give your art work a bit of interest! Use your die and simply turn your image for it to stand out from the background it was cut from! Use your die to create an impression into your cardstock! More crafty details as well as a full list of supplies used for this project, can be found in the video below! You are such a good teacher and I enjoy your videos and especially your philosophy, "Nothing is Perfect!". I tend to try to make it perfect and loose some of the joy along the creation process. Now your influence has helped me stress less and enjoy more. (Hopefully recipients will still like the cards.) You have also helped me think and more importantly, do things outside of my comfort zone. I have become addicted to making backgrounds and have definitely become a messy crafter! Thank you! Have you tried micro glue dots for glueing fine detailed cutouts together? I love them for this type of application. I took them to a make & take and they were a hit!

Getting Inky, suffering paper cuts, cutting using metal dies and stamping everything... These are just some of the fun and mischievous ways together we will create paper art! So stay and be motivated and inspired! ...and let me know what inspires your creativity!
Since about the time I spoke my first word, I’ve been an avid crafter alongside my mom and sister. You name the craft and I’ve probably made it and collected it. I simply find so much joy in working with my hands and seeing a happy customer with one of my creations. There’s nothing better! But I also love helping people become stronger and seeing them find THEIR happy through THEIR creations.
