Day 6 | Christmas Series 2018
Welcome back to Day 6 of my Christmas Series!
For today's project I am going to feature Hero Arts, specifically one of their fancy dies! These dies are so intricate and textured!
So instead of a card I had to make a tag... I could make tags all day long during the month of December! What is also great with this die, it can be a card, a tag and even an ornament for your tree!
I used Pool Party Cardstock by Stampin' Up and blended a navy dye ink over the one side of the ornament shape. For the overlay of the die cut I pulled out some shimmer paper by Recollections give a sparkle and shine to my tag.
My sentiment is from the Sizzix Thinlit set by Tim Holt Alterations called Holiday Words #2. I just love the modern look of these as sentiments for my paper crafting!
On the back I simply hand wrote the To: and From:... Yes I know I have tons of those stamps, but why not use our own handwriting for an item that is handmade... right?!?
Here are just some of the products I used for making this tag...

Sizzix – Tim Holtz Alterations – Holiday Words #2 Thinlit Dies

OMG! I love the tag you've madem I really love making tags and have made some really cute ones for giving to family and to friends who order cards from me as a thank you this year. I giggle when I make them. And a couple have been added to a panel and turned into cards! Sometimes I make tags that are five inches and add buttons, lace layers sometimes too butterflies and doilies, double thickness and a stamped sentiment on the backs. Have even sold several. Anyway, thanks again for the inspiration! You're a doll!

Getting Inky, suffering paper cuts, cutting using metal dies and stamping everything... These are just some of the fun and mischievous ways together we will create paper art! So stay and be motivated and inspired! ...and let me know what inspires your creativity!
Well, hello there everyone! My name is Desiree Kuemmerle and I live in Lansdale, PA with the hubs of over 20 years and our furry bot Max! I am fluent in Crafting, a Master Paper Manipulator and a violator of all that makes sense...
Since about the time I spoke my first word, I’ve been an avid crafter alongside my mom and sister. You name the craft and I’ve probably bought it, collected it, tried it and finally stored it. Right now, getting Inky, suffering paper cuts, cutting with metal dies and stamping everything, whether it moves or not makes me smile and I must pass that along to everyone I know and don’t know!
