Hello Everyone! I am back with another project, but this time I am going to use their Circle Burst stencil! I knew when I saw this stencil, there were going to be a lot of big and shiny balloons to celebrate a birthday! I grabbed three of my distress oxide inks in spiced marmalade, worn lipstick and peacock feathers and my distress blending brushes and got my card stock panel ready for my stencil. I made sure I taped my panel down so it would not shift while I was applying my ink through the stencil. Using my blending brushes I made sure I always went in the same direction which provided a shadow along one side of my balloons. Make sure they overlap to give a sense of the center balloon is in front of the other two! I pulled out my black fine liner pen and added my strings and bows to my balloons and a highlight mark with my white gel pen! For my sentiment I used the Birthday Sugar Script die. This is a great large and bold sentiment to help the celebration shine! I used black card stock for the background die and a shimmer card stock for the sentiment itself! I popped my sentiment up using my double-sided foam tape and placed along the bottom edge of my card design with enough space to set my other two sentiments above and below to finish my wish! I used my liquid adhesive to secure my panel to my standard A2 size top folding card base (4 1/4 inch x 5 1/2 inch). Here are just some of the products I used for this project! Right now, getting Inky, suffering paper cuts, cutting with metal dies and stamping everything, whether it moves or not makes me smile and I must pass that along to everyone I know and don’t know!
