A Flamingo Celebration! featuring Scrapping for Less...

​Hello Everyone!

I am here with another project for Scrapping for Less!  Now you are going to see double here, but today I just have to showcase the Scrapping for Less Stamp Set that is available in the Banana Split level of the Flavor of the Month Card Kit for July 2018!  This is the perfect stamp set to create many cards for any celebration!  …yes there are still some kits available!!!!

When I first saw this stamp set I immediately knew I wanted to use my Zig Real Brush Watercolor Markers!  I started by stamping all my images using Versafine Black Ink onto Bristol Card stock and then I used my clear embossing powder to set the ink in place and give me a barrier for my watercoloring. I find this is easier for me to color my images since I am still learning how these full work and operate…  LOL  We are always in a learning process, right?

​I dug around in my box of Zigs and pulled out all the colors that made me smile! …and then went to town laying down the color in an area of the image and then pulled it out with my aqua brush!  For the flamingos, I decided to not use the aqua brush but rather two different colors blended together straight onto the card stock!! I really liked the look!

After my images were colored I pulled out some pattern paper from the Bo Bunny – Escape to Paradise Collection! Yes this is available in the Card Kit ALSO! …and a die from my stash to create a wave along the left side under my design panel! Popped it up onto my 4.25 in x 5.50 in top folding card base!
