Hello Everyone! Let's get ready for Fall, it is right around the corner! For today's project I created some Fall Themed Note Cards featuring Rubber Stamp Tapestry's Peg Stamps! I used two sets and some of their individual peg stamps... I love the colors of the fall so I grabbed my distress inks and craft mat and started ink smooshing! I created three small panels and then I used one of my steel rule dies by Sizzix called Tattered Leaves by Tim Holtz... I also cut out these images using some solid colored card stock. Once they were die cut I started using my peg stamps to create my pattern paper on my images! ...and you know the Vintage Photo made an appearance! Layered my leaves together onto a 4 inch x 4 inch design base in ivory, and then matted each onto the brown piece of card stock measuring 4 1/8 inch x 4 1/8 inch. Once all my layers were together they were set onto a 4 1/4 inch x 4 1/4 inch card base! More crafty details as well as a full list of supplies used for this project, can be found in the video below! I wait until the last minute! ....always! So while I was deciding my design team project for Rubber Stamp Tapestry I just saw something in this peg stamp set that would become more! So I quickly pulled the Poinsettia Twist Peg Stamp Set and saw it become a more Spring/ Summer Card. All it took was to change the ink colors for the flowers! How simple is that!!!! Be Inspired, ENJOY, LAUGH and ALWAYS BE CREATIVE! ~ Desiree Hello Everyone! I am here with Rubber Stamp Tapestry, and today we are going to create our own pattern paper background! The peg stamp I chose for today's project is called Color Me Beautiful and it is perfect if you love to color your images... I used my Gina K Amalgam Black ink to stamp my flowers and then chose some mini ink cubes for the greens and small flowers and just had fun stamping around my card stock to make sure it was filled in. I then grabbed my Watercolor Brush Marker and pen and colored my flowers in making sure to drag the color within the area. Once ,my panel was dry I used a plan card stock for a mat and adhered it to my Standard A2 size top folding card base. I die cut my sentiment five times to create a chip board piece and once in place I used my spectrum noir sparkle pen and Nuvo crystal glaze to highlight my sentiment! Be Inspired, ENJOY, LAUGH and ALWAYS BE CREATIVE! ~ Desiree Hello Everyone! I am here today with another design team project for Rubber Stamp Tapestry! Today I am using the Pottery Garden Peg Stamp Set. This has both peg stamps and a stamp block in the set. I used my Memento Dew Drop Ink Pads to stamp all my images and I even used multiple colors for my flower pots to add some shading. Now as always I smudged some ink, but we keep going... So I cut a frame out of brown card stock and used my Nuvo Drops to cover up these areas and no one will ever know they are there! I propped my panel up using fun foam onto my standard A2 size top folding card base (4 1/2 x 5 1/2). Since about the time I spoke my first word, I’ve been an avid crafter alongside my mom and sister. You name the craft and I’ve probably bought it, collected it, tried it and finally stored it. Right now, getting Inky, suffering paper cuts, cutting with metal dies and stamping everything, whether it moves or not makes me smile and I must pass that along to everyone I know and don’t know!
