Hello Everyone! Welcome to the Spellbinder's Holiday Blog Hop! Today we are featuring some wonderful collections being released! My projects will feature the Zenspired Holidays Collection by Joanne Fink! I am such a doodler and I love the fact these cards look as if they were drawn by hand! For my first card I just had to use the Dangling Ornaments along with my Distress Oxides. I started by creating a blended background cut down to 4 1/4 in x 5 1/2 in. I sprayed the background to give it some texture for an added touch. I stamped my images in white pigment ink and then heat set with white embossing powder! I wanted to make my ornaments stand out even more, to do that I used my oxides as watercolors and painted some of the focal areas. Once everything was dry I added some NuVo Drop Embellishments for some added dimension. My second card is featuring the Christmas Candy Canes Stamp and Die Set! I think it is wonderful you get a die for each stamp in this set and their are two candy cane facing in opposite directions! No Mirror Stamping Here! I stamped my images using an alcohol marker friendly ink and colored away! Cut my images using the coordinating dies once my coloring was finished. Adhered my candy canes using my liquid adhesive and double sided foam tape! Finally, what card is complete without some glitter! Hello Everyone! I am over on the Birch Press Design Blog today! Check out the detail in this card, and here is the best part.... IT TOOK NO TIME AT ALL! The Metro Triangle Collage Die does all the work for you! I only added a blended background using my Distress Oxides and turned it into a shaker card with some iridescent sequins just to give it a little shimmer... Use their 'Just Because' Clear Stamp Set for my sentiments inside and outside! Click on the video below to see how to make this card! Are you a Picturebook Die fan? As always Simon Says Stamp has you covered! They now have launched Big Picturebook Dies as part of their launch for STAMPtember®! The Big Picturebook Fox is absolutely adorable and so easy to put together, just like all the others! I used scraps from my stash and I die cut them twice! I cut a 1/2 inch from the bottom of my card base... I had to let his little nose stick out a bit! LOL After the pieces were cut I added some distress oxides tot he edges just to give some dimension... The colors I used were antique linen, worn lipstick, mowed lawn, and vintage photo! For my sentiment I used Simon Says Stamps Big Greetings 1 Stamp Set! I added some Nuvo Shimmer - Midas Touch to the inside of the letters, just to add a hint of sparkle! Now go.... Be Inspired, Be Creative, ENJOY and SHARE what you create today! ~ Desiree Hello Everyone! I am here with the Simon Says Stamp August 2018 Card Kit! I am absolutely in love with the images in this this kit! ...and when you loose power in your house, the medium of choice becomes color pencils! YAY! While I had a moment running around the house thinking how I was going to get everything done... I got to play with my favorite medium! - now I have many, and I mean MANY pencil sets, from Crayola to Prismacolor and everything in between! My first card shown was very much inspired by Yana Smakula... Now I was not as ambitious as she with stamping the flower image twice, but when I saw her color this image, I new my sets had to be pulled out! The above image was colored with my Marco Renoir Fine Art Set. When I color my images the process is very similar to alcohol markers. I start with my darkest and work my way to where I want my lightest to be. My second card was very much clean and simple! I just used a very pal soft sky colored ink and stamped my image and added a couple banners using the pattern paper from the kit! For the final card I am showing today, I used the background stamp with a pale ink to just add texture... I cut my panel using my Penny Black Antique Frame dies for an uneven edge and placed a piece of the pattern paper behind to add a pop of color! For this image I pulled out my Lyra Rembrant Polycolor pencils. Added a double bow from the twine included in the kit. Make sure you click on the video below to see more card projects and details!
