Hello Everyone! So many products to choose from within the Friendly Frolic release by Simon Says Stamp! From florals to dinosaurs and everything in between, this collection is sure to full-fill all of your crafty needs for any occasion! I had a terrific time creating with the Diamond Pattern 6x6 background cling stamp. It is amazing how many different ways you can use a background stamp. Below are some cards I created... My first card I used pigment ink to blend across the stamp design and stamped onto a piece of white card stock! Used a stitched curve die from my stash and a simple sentiment set called Messages for Everyday and my card was ready to go in no time! My second card, I wanted to try something different... I placed my background stamp in my stamp positioner and stamped using my distress oxides. I then shifted my card stock to the right and up by a half an inch. Stamp again with another color and then repeated the process two more times. It actually recreated the design each time! My sentiment from the Loving Heart stamp set was centered onto a heart die cut and off set in black. Now we know for my final card I had to do a blended background with my oxides and then use white embossing powder for the stamp design. It created such a bright and bold back drop to my sentiment! I know your wish list will grow quickly from all the crafty goodness in this collection! Since about the time I spoke my first word, I’ve been an avid crafter alongside my mom and sister. You name the craft and I’ve probably made it and collected it. I simply find so much joy in working with my hands and seeing a happy customer with one of my creations. There’s nothing better! But I also love helping people become stronger and seeing them find THEIR happy through THEIR creations.
