Card Kit Series: SSS June 2017 #2 of 6...

Welcome back!

Continuing in the SSS June 2017 Card Series - here is Card #2!, inspired by Shari Carroll from Simon Says Stamp.

Using Canson Watercolor XL paper, I applied a layer of the Distressed Oxide Ink by Tim Holtz in Worn Lipstick.  I made sure the area faded out just past the size of the stamp.  Splashed some water drops onto the area and then lifted away the color.

I then used VersaMark Watermark Ink and gold embossing powder.  I like how this added just the right touch of elegance.

I white embossed the 'forever & always' sentiment onto black card stock ad created an angled banner.

Popped up the card base onto  foam sheet and adhered to a top folding standard 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" black card stock.
