Hello Everyone! Welcome back for Day 2 of my Halloween Series for 2018! Today, we are going to combine two simple techniques... oxide blending and die cutting. Using Bristol card stock I created two blended panels. One was for my night sky and the other created the background to the Haunted House! But where to place the sentiment? On the inside of course! Always remember, paper has two side and when we have a card base the side are almost endless! LOL So use up those extra die cut pieces! Here is a list of just some of the products I used for this project! Always Remember... Be Inspired, Be Creative, ENJOY and SHARE what you create today! ~ Desiree Hello Everyone! I am here with another design team project for Scrapping for Less! Today let’s pull out those small stamp sets we just have to have because let’s face it, they are just too cute! The stamp set I am actually using for today’s project is from the Flavor of the Month July 2018 Card Kit. It’s the Sunny Studio’s – Make a Wish stamp set. Ok, let’s get started and make some wishes come true but only use paper! I started my project by stamping my images using my VersaFine Black. I planned on coloring my images using my Arteza Real Brush Markers. Once they were dry I used a stitched circle die from my stash and cut out my images along with 4 more circles. I grabbed some toothpicks and double sided and started to put together my cake toppers! I added some sequins and Nuvo drops because what cupcake does not need sparkle! It’s that easy! Always Remember... Be Inspired, Be Creative, ENJOY and SHARE what you create today! ~ Desiree Hello Everyone! I am back with another video for Spellbinders! Today I am featuring A Charming Christmas by Becca Feeken. These dies are amazing and a wonderful addition for your holiday card making this year! My card I used the Charming Christmas Bough Die Set. This has a beautiful frame die and includes the perfect size ornaments! I pulled out a past paper pad by Spellbinders from one of their previous card kits! I knew those ornaments had to be hung from the frame. I waned to make sure my sentiment was a elegant as my card so I pulled out sentiment pack called Christmas Sentiments from the Zenspirations collection. My second card, well project actually, makes a beautiful Pocket Tag! This die set is called a Charming Pocket Tag! I am it is perfect for any occasion... I used the traditional Holiday colors in deep reds and greens with a kraft paper making the pocket. This is a very simple die set to work with to create many more tags for your gift giving this season! I chose to use a die for my sentiment from the Naughty or Nice D-Lites Set! Both projects were easy and simple to put together in no time! See just how in the video below! Always Remember... Be Inspired, Be Creative, ENJOY and SHARE what you create today! ~ Desiree Hello Everyone! I am back with another design team project for Scrapping for Less! For today I had a craving for Caramel Apples and Lawn Fawn filled it…. for now, at least, LOL! The stamp set for my design team project is by Lawn Fawn and it’s actually called Caramel Apples! Caramel apples are perfect for that cool night in the fall! For this project I used my Memento Ink and alcohol markers to color my images! I also had a chance to use Lawn Fawn Knock on Wood paper pad! This pad is great for adding just a hint of texture on your card with out all the work! I grabbed three shades and cut them down. For this card I actually followed a sketch, you can find it here at the Scrapping for Less Show and Share Group – COME AND SHARE YOUR WORK WITH US! I made sure my images were front center with the pattern paper placed around. Once I was finished I placed my design base onto my Standard A2 size top folding card base. Added some Nuvo Drops in dark walnut to give just something extra! Just click on the video below to see all the fun and creative details!
