Hello Everyone! I am back today with another design team project for Birch Press Design! I chose for my project the die set called Aurora, but this time I am only going to use one of the layers! I chose to use Layer A from this set which is the top layer when using all of them. For my card I decided on very warm and earthy colors... I know that is most likely not a word, but it is what we go with! LOL... By just using that one die, I was able to create the image of a flower! .....shhh, want to see what is under the sentiment? Make sure you watch the video below, hehehehe... Was able to use two sentiments from the 'Just Because' Stamp and matching die set and heat embossing them in white and dark brown powder. Click below to see all the creative details and a few changes desperately needed, LOL... Hello Everyone! I am here with Simon Says Stamp to show a part of their Fun & Festive release! I cannot think of a better way to bring in the holiday season! Tiny Words Christmas is the perfect set of sentiments for your stash! Now they are small, and I mean small, I mean 1/8 in high! They are perfect to pair with any larger size sentiment you may already have in your collection. Since I was using tiny sentiments I decided I wanted to make non-traditional size cards! These are great to make when you have scraps you just have to use up! I dug into my Simon Says Stamp Dies and found these to be perfect! Just by cutting my pattern paper slightly larger than the die cut panel, I instantly had a border and color beaming through my die cut! The top two images were made using the Simon Says Stamp Snowflake Tree and Corbel Ornament Dies. I matched up my sentiments from the Tiny Words Holiday Stamp Set to each image! For the next two cards I used the Retro Flake and the Pile of Gifts Die Set (NOTE sorry the Pile of Gifts Dies is not showing available) Now for those of you who just like to make standard A2 size card, here is the perfect match up! The Peyton Ornament die with the same sentiment stamp set from the Fun & Festive Collection! I could not get enough of this set! Yes the sentiments are small but they have a huge impact when they are paired with the right die or card design! If you are interested to have the size of the cards that I made, I have created a document with all the sizes to cut so you can create your own set!
Now go... and enjoy shopping! If you are interested in seeing just how I made these cards, make sure you click on the video below! When you are done watching the video, and want to see more, make sure you CLICK HERE and SUBSCRIBE to my channel!
Always Remember... Be Inspired, Be Creative, ENJOY and SHARE what you create today! ~ Desiree Hello Everyone! I am back with another card for Rubber Stamp Tapestry using their Peg Stamps! I know I have said it before but these are stamps are a must for your stash! So versatile and yest can still create your focal point on any card... I find I always grab my Dew Drops by Memento for all my ink coloring when creating with this product! I chose Robin's Nest stamp set for today's card. It was perfect to create my border around the oval opening. I stamped my sentiment in the middle of my card base and placed my colored card stock on top using a smaller size oval die. The sentiment I used comes from their sentiment set called Whispers from the Garden. These are perfect and coordinate well with many of their peg stamp sets! Click on the video below to see how wonderful these are to create with! Always Remember... Be Inspired, Be Creative, ENJOY and SHARE what you create today! ~ Desiree Hello Everyone! I am here with the Hero Arts Monthly Kit for September! Yes, always late to the game, but I will always make sure I post to give as much inspiration as I can! I will admit, this kit made me struggle. The images are beautiful, but I just could not get inspired by them... But what I did get inspired by were the dies themselves... So we had fun cutting up paper and seeing what we could do with and to it!... So let's check out the cards we created! Here is used the branch die to create a create in my favorite fall colors! I accented with my NuVo Drops in the same shades.... This one does look kinda funny... I was inspired by this sentiment... Of course I used bright Oxides and sprayed with my distress sprayer and just let it dry, not using a paper towel to lift the water. Stamped my images using my VersaFine Black Ink and Clear Embossing powder to heat set! Again the dies and the sentiment brought this card to life. Created a panel of color using the Daniel Smith sample pack provided in the kit and then used the leaf die to cut out my images... I also used black card stock and the leaf branch and vase die to create a silhouette on my card front. Add splatters with the same watercolor to the front of my panel for an added touch! What was wonderful with the dies provided was how they cut out the image. It was not just the solid images but rather it had cut outs as well! So if you did not stamp the images, you still tell what the image was by just using the die and solid card stock. Now there is one more card! To see all the details check out the video below! In their kits they provide 10 pre-scored card bases and envelopes. But you can create so much more! We do not need to limit ourselves... So sit back and take some time to watch the video to see exactly what you will get in your kit, and also the other cards I made... ENJOY! Always Remember...
